9. 7stamp स्कैनर Application — Manual / ऑटोपायलट / कियोस्क
7stamp स्कैनर is the working ऐप for स्टाफ and ग्राहक. Its job is to turn a कार्ड स्कैन into stamping, voucher redemption, and lottery spinning. It’s what physically sits at the till, in a स्टाफ member’s pocket, or on a ग्राहक-facing stand. One स्टाफ login gives access to all three modes — the choice of mode depends on the pace of your व्यवसाय and the service scenario.
9.1 Where 7stamp स्कैनर runs
Web version (any device): scanner.7stamp.com
- Works in any modern browser: on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
- नहीं install — खोलें the page, enter your स्टाफ Login, get to work.
- Ideal for a shared work laptop at the till, a tablet on a stand, any Windows/Mac/Linux device with a camera.
- You can connect an external scanner and स्कैन ग्राहक कार्ड्स with it. नहीं configuration needed.
Android: Google Play iOS: ऐप Store
- Native ऐप — runs faster, uses the phone camera better.
- A good fit for स्टाफ who work off their own phones (premium service, field work, delivery).
- You can connect an external scanner and स्कैन ग्राहक कार्ड्स with it (in which case consider ऑटोपायलट mode).
- Can run on a tablet in कियोस्क mode.
What to pick. If you have an Android tablet at the till or an iPad on a counter — install the native ऐप. If you work from different devices or use a single shared computer at the till — go with the web version https://scanner.7stamp.com. Login and password for entry are created in the admin panel under [स्टाफ](../../संचालन/प्रबंधित करें-स्टाफ-logins-and-scanner-seats/#स्टाफ).
9.2 Login and navigation

You can log in from any platform (Web / Android / iOS) with the same स्टाफ Login you created in the admin (स्टाफ → + CREATE → Creating स्टाफ Login). After login, the ऐप automatically links to your व्यवसाय profile.
Side menu (opens with the ☰ icon in the upper left):
- Manual Mode — manual scanning mode (default).
- कियोस्क Mode — ग्राहक self-service mode.
- खोलें Admin Panel — त्वरित link to the admin (
admin.7stamp.com). - Log Out — sign out (at the bottom of the menu, red button).
You don’t need to “switch modes” between Manual and ऑटोपायलट through the menu. ऑटोपायलट is a sub-mode of Manual Mode, toggled with a single switch right on the main screen (see below).
9.3 Manual Mode — स्टाफ scanning by hand
Manual Mode is the आधार scenario where स्टाफ स्कैन the ग्राहक’s कार्ड themselves. Used in premium service (beauty salons, barbershops, spa, sit-down restaurants) where stamping is part of the personal interaction with the ग्राहक.
Manual Mode main screen
- Header indicator: Waiting for the कार्ड स्कैन — the ऐप is ready to accept a स्कैन.
- Top right — the Auto-स्टैम्प (स्कैनर Only) toggle (off in Manual).
- Bottom of the screen — the recent shift event log (issued / used / deleted वाउचर). Every entry is tappable and opens details.
- At the very bottom — two action buttons:
- 🔍 खोज ग्राहक — find a ग्राहक by name, email, phone, or कार्ड number.
- 📷 Use Camera — खोलें the device camera and स्कैन a ग्राहक कार्ड QR.
Four ways to find a ग्राहक and स्टैम्प the कार्ड
1. स्कैनning with the device camera (Use Camera). The main way to work.
The स्टाफ member taps Use Camera, points the phone/tablet camera at the ग्राहक’s कार्ड QR (the ग्राहक opens their कार्ड in Apple वॉलेट or Google वॉलेट and shows the screen), the ऐप recognizes the code in a fraction of a second, and immediately opens the ग्राहक कार्ड.
2. स्कैनning the ग्राहक कार्ड with an external scanner.
Connect the scanner to your device and simply स्कैन the ग्राहक’s कार्ड with it.
3. ग्राहक खोज (खोज ग्राहक). A fallback when the ग्राहक doesn’t have their phone at hand.

Useful when:
- the ग्राहक left or drained their phone;
- the ग्राहक just signed up and hasn’t yet figured out where the कार्ड opens;
- the स्टाफ member works by appointment and opens the ग्राहक’s कार्ड in advance.
खोज works by name, email, or कार्ड number.
4. Direct voucher खोज (Voucher खोज). When the ग्राहक arrives with a voucher in hand (e.g., a printed paper one) and wants to redeem it. You can enter the voucher number in the खोज, स्कैन it with an external scanner, or स्कैन it with the device camera.
The ग्राहक कार्ड after scanning

Once the कार्ड is found, the ग्राहक कार्ड opens with two tabs:
- Info — basic information (name, email, कार्ड ID
#XXXXXX, birthday with edit ✏️). - वाउचर (N) — list of all this ग्राहक’s वाउचर: active, redeemed, expired.
In the upper area there’s a red Reset स्टैम्प्स button — it lets you reset the ग्राहक’s स्टैम्प्स (e.g., if they closed the final goal, got the रिवॉर्ड, and you want to शुरू करें a new कार्ड). नहींte. You don’t have to reset the कार्ड: if अगला time you स्कैन it on the final goal without resetting, the system will cyclically put the पहला स्टैम्प of a new iteration.
स्टैम्प controls

At the bottom of the screen — the स्टैम्प controls:
- 🟢 + (green) — add a स्टैम्प.
- 🔴 − (red) — remove a स्टैम्प (if you made a mistake).
- A quantity field with − / + — add several स्टैम्प्स at once (e.g., if the कार्ड uses
By amountand the ग्राहक spent a large sum). - 🔍 खोज ग्राहक — खोलें a different ग्राहक.
- 📷 — स्कैन again.
Three scenarios on reaching a goal
When a स्टैम्प brings the ग्राहक to a goal (one of the milestones or the final goal), स्कैनर shows a popup with the gift. The popup contents depend on the रिवॉर्ड type configured on the कार्ड.
1. रिवॉर्ड = Award (instant text gift).

On screen — the gift text and image (“Free Coffee”, “1 free pastry”, etc.). The स्टाफ member shows the screen to the ग्राहक and hands over the promised gift.
2. रिवॉर्ड = Voucher (Smart Voucher with Redeem Code).

The Voucher Unlocked! popup with image, voucher title, and voucher number #XXXXXXX. Three actions:
- Use Voucher (green button) — redeem the voucher right in स्कैनर. If the voucher has the Redeem Code option enabled, the screen shows the code text + QR + barcode. The स्टाफ enters / scans the code into the POS. The voucher moves to
redeemedand can’t be used again. - See All वाउचर — खोलें the list of all the ग्राहक’s वाउचर (e.g., if the ग्राहक wants to redeem a different voucher पहला).
- बंद करें — close the popup; the voucher stays active and the ग्राहक can use it later.
3. रिवॉर्ड = Lottery (a draw).

The lottery screen opens on the स्टाफ member’s device. The स्टाफ hands the device to the ग्राहक (or shows the screen) and asks them to tap “Play”. After the spin, one of the Variants fires and is then handled as an Award or a Voucher (see above).

Self-redemption of a voucher in Manual mode


If the ग्राहक arrives for a promised gift later (not right after receiving it), the स्टाफ opens their कार्ड and switches to the वाउचर (N) tab. All the ग्राहक’s वाउचर are visible here. The स्टाफ taps the right one → the voucher opens with Use Voucher → confirm → status redeemed.
Security: the Voucher state machine (issued → active → redeemed → expired) prevents double use. After redeemed the voucher (or its screenshot) won’t work again.
9.4 ऑटोपायलट Mode — background scanning at the till
ऑटोपायलट Mode is a sub-mode of Manual Mode in which स्टैम्प्स are added in the background, with no confirmations and no modals. Ideal for peak hours in a coffee shop, fast food, bakery, car wash — anywhere there’s a queue and the service can’t slow down.
How to enable it
On the Manual Mode main screen, flip the Auto-स्टैम्प (स्कैनर Only) toggle in the upper right to “on” (green). The screen changes:
- The icon switches to an external-scanner image.
- The main header reads: Auto-स्टैम्प Mode Active.
- The subheader: “The system स्टैम्प्स automatically only for scanner input.”

The phrase “स्कैनर Only” means that in this mode स्टैम्प्स are added only via input from a hardware scanner (an external USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner connected to the computer/tablet). The Use Camera and खोज ग्राहक buttons remain visible on screen and available if you need them, but they’re not used in normal ऑटोपायलट operation — they serve as a backup (e.g., if the scanner didn’t pick up the ग्राहक and you need to find them manually).

- The स्टाफ takes the order as usual (at the till, the bar counter, the wash).
- At भुगतान or right after, the ग्राहक shows their वॉलेट कार्ड.
- The external scanner catches the QR “as a barcode”.
- 7stamp स्कैनर adds the स्टैम्प to the ग्राहक’s कार्ड in the background.
- नहीं modal — the queue doesn’t stop.
- The ग्राहक sees the progress update later in their वॉलेट via PUSH notification.
What you need
- Barcode scanner: USB or Bluetooth, capable of reading QR codes. Standard models from Honeywell, Zebra, Datalogic will do. The scanner should be set to keyboard emulation (HID mode).
- A permanent device at the till: a laptop or tablet with
scanner.7stamp.comखोलें or with the Android/iOS ऐप. - Stable internet — every स्टैम्प goes to the cloud in real time.
ग्राहक self-redemption of a voucher in ऑटोपायलट
In ऑटोपायलट the स्टाफ doesn’t physically स्कैन the वॉलेट कार्ड in “dialog mode” — they work the queue. But the ग्राहक can use their voucher on the spot, and that doesn’t require switching modes. On the कार्ड page in वॉलेट the ग्राहक has a link to their वाउचर. Opening it, the ग्राहक either:
- calls out the Redeem Code to the cashier, who enters it into the till (if the till supports promo codes), or
- shows the QR/barcode on their phone screen, and the cashier scans it with the external scanner.
After that the voucher moves to redeemed and can no longer be reused. As an alternative, the cashier can temporarily flip the Auto-स्टैम्प toggle off, खोलें the ग्राहक कार्ड manually, and redeem the voucher with Use Voucher.
When to come वापस to Manual
At any moment the स्टाफ can switch off the Auto-स्टैम्प toggle and go वापस to manual scanning — for instance, if the ग्राहक comes with a problem (lost a voucher, wants to adjust स्टैम्प्स manually) or you need to look them up by name/email. All Manual Mode features are available — खोज, camera स्कैन, manual voucher issuing and redemption.
9.5 कियोस्क Mode — ग्राहक self-service
कियोस्क Mode is a full-screen self-service mode in which the tablet faces the ग्राहक and the ग्राहक scans their own कार्ड. The स्टाफ is not involved in the process at all — hence “zero स्टाफ training”. It’s ideal for coffee shops, bakeries, fast casual restaurants, light retail, car washes.
कियोस्क Mode सेटअप
स्टेप 1. Switch to कियोस्क.
In the side menu (☰) pick कियोस्क Mode. The ऐप enters सेटअप mode.
Make sure to पढ़ें the on-screen tips about how to “pin” the ऐप on an Android tablet or iPad so the ग्राहक can’t minimize or close it (the device’s so-called कियोस्क mode). These are your tablet’s system features — पढ़ें the hint on our screen, or the manual for your device.
स्टेप 2. Pick the कार्ड to display.
If your व्यवसाय has several स्टैम्प कार्ड्स (e.g., a separate कार्ड for coffee and another for pastry), pick the one that will be shown on this specific tablet. You can set up several tablets for different कार्ड्स.
स्टेप 3. Additional options.
Extra कियोस्क लॉन्च settings.
पहला — the color scheme. You can लॉन्च कियोस्क in your कार्ड’s palette or pick one of our predefined sets. Try the option that looks best to you!
The most important option is Prevent Immediate स्कैनs. It blocks the same ग्राहक from earning a स्टैम्प twice in a row: if the option is on, a repeat स्कैन just shows the ग्राहक their previous result (the last रिवॉर्ड / screen shown), and no स्टैम्प is added. This protects against accidental double scans at the counter.
After confirmation — कियोस्क launches.
कियोस्क Mode main screen

What the ग्राहक sees on approaching the tablet:
- Up top — your व्यवसाय logo and name (pulled from the कार्ड settings).
- Header: कलेक्ट स्टैम्प्स Get रिवॉर्ड्स.
- A
Your रिवॉर्डcarousel — shows the final gift (and, with milestone रिवॉर्ड्स, all intermediate ones). Swipeable. - A large black 📱 स्कैन your कार्ड button with the sublabel “Get your अगला स्टैम्प by scanning the कार्ड.” (or “Hold your phone near the reader” — the text adapts).
- At the bottom — the new-ग्राहक block: नहीं कार्ड Yet? “स्कैन QR-Code and add कार्ड to Your वॉलेट” with the जुड़ें page QR.
ग्राहक scenario in कियोस्क Mode
- The ग्राहक comes up to the tablet stand.
- If they already have a कार्ड → खोलें वॉलेट → tap स्कैन your कार्ड → hold the वॉलेट screen to the tablet camera → स्टैम्प added.
- If they don’t have a कार्ड yet → स्कैन the नहीं कार्ड Yet? QR with their phone camera → the कार्ड saves to वॉलेट instantly → tap स्कैन your कार्ड → get their पहला स्टैम्प.
What the ग्राहक sees on reaching the goal
रिवॉर्ड = Award.

A full-screen Congratulations! screen with the gift’s image and description. The ग्राहक shows the screen to स्टाफ and collects the promised gift.
रिवॉर्ड = Voucher.

A Congratulations! Voucher Unlocked! screen with the voucher कार्ड. The ग्राहक can redeem the voucher themselves right in कियोस्क — the use button opens a screen with the Redeem Code (text + QR + barcode) that the ग्राहक shows to the cashier, who scans or enters the code into the till. After redemption the voucher moves to redeemed and can’t be used again, even if the ग्राहक kept a screenshot.
At the bottom — buttons:
- My वाउचर — see all my वाउचर.
- Closing in 12s — countdown to automatic वापसी to the main screen.
This is an important कियोस्क pattern: auto-close. Without it the tablet would be “stuck” on one ग्राहक’s screen until स्टाफ intervened. The countdown ensures the tablet always returns to a clean starting screen 10–15 seconds after an action.
रिवॉर्ड = Lottery.

The ग्राहक spins the lottery on the screen themselves — a pleasant game mechanic. After a Variant drops, the screen behaves like Award or Voucher above.

Viewing the ग्राहक’s वाउचर
At any moment the ग्राहक can tap My वाउचर on the कियोस्क main screen and see all their active वाउचर. This is convenient: if the ग्राहक has an unused voucher from a previous visit, they can show it to स्टाफ right away without opening वॉलेट.
Technical requirements for a कियोस्क stand
- Tablet: 10” or 12” iPad / Android tablet. The bigger the screen, the more convenient for the ग्राहक. We like the iPad mini.
- Stand: fixed, facing the ग्राहक. The stand should let them hold a वॉलेट phone up to the tablet camera.
- Power: constant mains connection. कियोस्क runs all day.
- Internet: reliable Wi-Fi or mobile 4G.
- Optional — a सरल instruction कार्ड अगला to the stand: “1) खोलें your कार्ड in वॉलेट. 2) Hold it up to the camera. 3) Done!” — in two languages if you have international guests. Though a well-placed tablet with our कियोस्क UI usually handles this role on its own.
9.6 How to चुनें a mode — comparison

You can use several modes at once. For example, a hotel with a restaurant and a spa: in the spa — Manual Mode (premium, personal संपर्क); in the restaurant’s cafe — कियोस्क Mode on a stand (fast, no waiter involvement); at the reception — ऑटोपायलट for regulars. One स्टाफ Seat supports one login at a time; if you need several simultaneous points, add स्टाफ Logins in the admin.
9.7 Practical tips for launching स्कैनर
- Test before opening. Do 5–10 trial scans with your own कार्ड in the morning before the shift — make sure the camera focuses, the internet works, the स्टैम्प्स are added.
- On the कियोस्क tablet, disable auto-lock and notifications. नहींbody should accidentally exit to the OS or get a stray notification. On iOS use Guided Access, on Android Screen Pinning.
- For internet outages keep printed QR labels nearby (exported from the admin) — the ग्राहक scans them themselves and gets the कार्ड even if स्कैनर is temporarily unavailable.
- Onboard new स्टाफ. Every new shift member should know five things: how to log in to स्कैनर, how to स्कैन a कार्ड, how to add a स्टैम्प, how to handle
Voucher Unlocked!, how to redeem a voucher from theवाउचरtab. Five minutes of training. - The recent event log at the bottom of Manual Mode is your working log. If the ग्राहक complains “the स्टैम्प didn’t go through”, check it: you’ll see the time, the कार्ड ID, and what was issued / used.
